The Best Jeep Brand Vehicles We Have
The Jeep brand started its life on the battlefields of Europe in World War II. It was treasured for its sturdy construction, its incredible handling in off-road environments, and its reliability. After proving its off-road capability for soldiers on the battlefield, GIs wanted to have them back home, too.
Over the years, Jeep has proven time and time again it produces some of the best off-roading vehicles on the market. With new innovations in design and luxury, it has also become one of the most comfortable ways to hit asphalt too. If you share our love for them, let us tell you a little about all the Jeep models we carry!
All the Jeep Models That You Love
The Cherokee led to the birth of one of the best selling vehicles out of all Jeep models, the Jeep Grand Cherokee. After nearly 10 years of design and development, we saw the first Grand Cherokee roll out in 1992. It was the first Chrysler-badged Jeep vehicle, but it was far from the last.
The release of the Grand Cherokee marked a great period of growth and development for Jeep. It continues to be one of the best selling SUVs year after year. It’s not the only Jeep on the list either!
Of all of Jeep’s claims to fame, one of the most notorious would have to be the Jeep Cherokee. This iteration of the Jeep was originally a variation of an older model called the Wagoneer. It was originally a full-sized SUV and was converted into one of the world’s first compact SUVs. It now sits in the class of crossover SUV, but it still packs all of the punch and versatility it always has.
The Cherokee may be a little smaller than it used to be, but it’s still one of our favorites! We have several of these beauties in stock with all of the options for off-roading and creature comforts you could ask for!
Another iteration of crossover SUVs, the Jeep Compass made its debut in 2011. The Compass puts an emphasis on highway driving. It features plenty of cargo space for hauling around the kids’ sports equipment or your own, and it has a spacious cabin area for all of the passengers you can fit in this 4-door SUV.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Jeep if you couldn’t get it dirty, right? Thankfully, the Compass passes the same off-roading tests that all Jeep models do. It’s fit for the kids’ tournaments and games, for a weekend away at the cabin, or for taking on the trails in your own backyard!
The Gladiator vehicles represent a series that is special for Jeep because it is currently the only pickup truck model they produce. The original J-series pickups were made from 1962 to 1988. They came back into production only a few years ago, in 2018. It has all of the torque and power you need from a pickup with all of the fun of a Jeep!
The latest editions of Gladiators feature removable roofs and doors for hot summer days. They’re also great for off-roading with high levels of clearance on both ends. It also features a front end camera so that you can see obstacles on all sides of your vehicle! It’s a great vehicle for taking to work, taking on the trails, and everywhere between.
The Jeep Liberty was a short-lived, but well-loved model produced for American consumers from 2002-2012. It’s actually a variation of the Cherokee, made with the same unibody-construction. What made the Liberty different was its more compact size. While it’s still a 4-door SUV, it’s much more compact than its predecessor.
While the Liberty may have gone out of production, it’s not out of style. Follow this link to see some of the Libertys that we have in stock right now!
The Jeep Patriot is another model that has been discontinued since its inception but is still loved by Jeep fans everywhere. It was produced between 2007-2017 as a 5-door Jeep with two available four-wheel-drive options, the Freedom Drive I and Freedom Drive II. It also came in a range of sophisticated 4×4 systems.
In addition to running well, it also has the distinction of sporting Jeeps “Trail-Rated” badge. All Jeep models with this badge have undergone a series of grueling tests that prove their efficiency in five categories:
- Water Fording
- Ground Clearance
Any time you see that Trail-Rated badge on a Jeep 4×4, you can rest assured that it’s ready to tackle anything!
The Jeep Renegade marks another landmark for Jeep as the first model produced exclusively outside of North America. The Renegade was first produced in 2014 and originally conceived as a replacement for the Compass and Patriot. While the Patriot went out of production in 2017, the Compass received its second-generation model that same year.
The Renegade has continued production to this day. Standard models come with front-wheel drive, however, four-wheel drive is available for the Sport, Latitude, and Limited trims. It also has all of the new luxuries you would expect to find in modern vehicles.
Some of these exceptional optional features include:
- GPS Navigation with touchscreen
- Push-button start and remote-start system
- SIRIUS XM-Radio
- Voice command and more!
Among all Jeep models, the classic Jeep Wrangler is undoubtedly the most iconic. This incredibly popular model saw its first production year in 1987 and hasn’t ceased production since! The latest generation of the Wrangler was unveiled in 2017, but it’s a central part of the Jeep identity.
Wranglers have always had removable doors and roofs, but the Wrangler specifically put more emphasis on on-road driving. The emphasis was through a focus on handling and safety. This was an attempt to attract more “daily drivers” to the model which was defined by its ruggedness. It was very successful, too, as this continues to be one of the most popular models of Jeep ever created!
