The Chevrolet Colorado is proof that good things can come in smaller packages.
If you’re looking for a smaller truck that can do a little bit of everything, then the Chevy Colorado is right for you.
Chevrolet first introduced the Colorado line in 2004, replacing the compact Chevrolet S-10 model. These midsize trucks were created to provide rugged towing power and payload without the bulk of other models. Since its introduction nearly 20 years ago, the Colorado has built a reputation as a reliable daily driver.
Don’t let its smaller stature fool you, the Colorado is no slouch when it comes to towing a boat or heavy trailer. The new 2022 Colorado maxes out at 7,700 lbs. of towing capacity and 1,540 lbs. of payload.
The 2022 Colorado trucks come with three engine options, the 2.5L 4-Cylinder (200 horsepower, 191 lb.-ft of torque and a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs.), the 3.6L DOHC V6 (308 horsepower, 275 lb.-ft of torque and a max towing capacity of 7,000 lbs.) and a Duramax 2.8L Turbo-Diesel (181 horsepower, 369 lb.-ft of torque and a max towing capacity of 7,700 lbs.). Along with increased torque and towing power, the diesel engine also has better gas mileage (20 mpg city/30 mpg highway) compared to the gasoline-powered engines (19 mpg city/25 mpg highway).
Truck drivers are passionate about every detail in their rig. With the option of either an extended cab or crew cab and four trims to choose from (ZR1, ZR2, LT and WT), the 2022 Colorado is ready to meet your specific needs.
One of the biggest draws to the Colorado is its rugged off-roading capabilities. If you need a truck that can handle the roughest terrain the Northwest has to offer, the ZR1 and ZR2 have what it takes. With steel skid plates to protect the chassis, an off-road suspension package, 17-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires and a 1-inch factory-installed lift, the ZR2 is ready to blaze its own trail. Whatever obstacles are in your way, these tough off-roading machines are unstoppable.
With a maximum bed length of over 6-feet, you will still have lots of cargo space without the added bulk of a larger truck. Make sure your load is secure with up to 17 tie-downs in the new Colorado trucks. With available LED cargo box lighting and EZ-Lift and Lower tailgate, loading and unloading your Colorado is a breeze.
The new Colorado has plenty of available wireless features, including wireless charging, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Apple Carplay and Android Auto capabilities.
