Some of This Year’s Best-Selling Trucks in the Country
Another year, another step forward in the evolution of pickup trucks. Whether you use one for work, camping, home improvement projects, or just to get you and your family where you need to be, we believe a solid, dependable pickup truck just makes life better. To keep you on the up-and-up, we’ve compiled a list of the most popular pickup trucks of 2019.
2019 Dodge Ram 1500
This is easily one of our top picks for popular pickup trucks of the year. While the new model year shares a lot in common with the 2018 Dodge Ram 1500, it boasts some exciting updated features. The 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic includes features like LED bed lights, a rearview camera, an 8.4-inch touch screen, onboard Wi-Fi and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. There’s no doubt you’ll be riding in comfort.
Another safety feature the 2019 Dodge Ram brings is the Perpendicular Park Assist with Reverse Stop. Sensors in the bumpers gauge how much room you have available in a parking space, which instantly lets you know if you are too close to another vehicle, and it even controls the steering wheel to ease you safely into the spot. Check out this video for more details!
The 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 is available in six trim levels – the Limited, the Laramie, the Laramie Longhorn, the Rebel, the Tradesman, and the Big Horn. All come standard with a 305-horsepower 3.6L V6 mild-hybrid engine, though you also have the option of going with a 395-horsepower 5.7L V8 engine. There are a variety of packages and options that you can choose from for varying budgets, preferences, and requirements.
2019 GMC Sierra 1500
Another popular pickup truck from 2019 is the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. It represents General Motors’ complete redesign of the Sierra, which emphasizes what sets it apart from the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (which was also redesigned for the 2019 model year). It’s now bigger, more efficient, and more practical than ever before. It’s available in six trim levels: base, SLE, SLT, Elevation, AT4, and Denali.
2019 Ford F-150
The Ford F-150 is the most popular full-size pickup truck in the country and there are many reasons why that is and will continue to be the case. The 2019 Ford F-150 is another giant step forward for the formidable Ford F-Series.
It offers several engine choices, including a 3.5L EcoBoost V6, a High-Output 3.5L EcoBoost V6, a 2.7L EcoBoost V6, a 3.0L Power Stroke V6, a 3.3L V6, and a 5.0L V8. The base engine is the 3.3L V6, with 290-horsepower, one of the most efficient and powerful Ford V6’s yet.
2019 Ford F-250
And while we’re on the topic, here’s another testament to the F-Series. The 2019 Ford F-250 also belongs on any list of the year’s most popular pickup trucks. If you want to go bigger and more heavy-duty, this is another great truck – check out the ones in our inventory!
2019 Honda Ridgeline
Another contender for the most popular pickup truck of 2019 is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline. It is a uniquely comfortable midsize pickup truck that offers more legroom for a truck full of passengers than you’re likely to find in any other truck of its class. This is because the interior design is largely based on that of the Pilot SUV.
While the unibody construction of the truck makes for a comfortable ride for the whole crew, it does limit its maximum towing capacity to 5,000 pounds. If you need a truck for more heavy-duty purposes, this may not be the one for you.
Otherwise, the Ridgeline offers a lot of value for casual use. It comes standard with a 280-horsepower 3.5L V-6 engine. This gives it the best fuel-efficiency in its class, even in AWD form (the Ridgeline comes standard with front-wheel drive).
This is a great mid-size pickup truck option for 2019. In fact, Car and Driver Magazine ranked the Honda Ridgeline the Best Mid-size Pickup Truck for the past three consecutive years, including this one!
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator
Consider this pickup truck the big brother of the Jeep Wrangler. It should also be considered one of the top Pickup Trucks of 2019. Available in four trim levels – the Rubicon, the Overland, the Sport, and the Sport S. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator blends the off-road capability of the Wrangler with the towing and payload capacity of a top-tier pickup truck.
The interior design takes its cues from the Wrangler. The roomy, comfortable cabin adds another dimension to what this truck has to offer. It combines a luxurious interior, serious off-roading aptitude, and the utility of a 5-foot usable bed.
With a 7,650 lbs maximum towing capacity and 1,600 lbs maximum payload capacity, it may sound too good to be true. Check out the Gladiators we have in stock and see for yourself!
